A Natural Building and Sustainable Living Course from Orchard Barn Environmental Education (OBee), a non-for-profit community interest company. Learn how to convert oak trees into workable timber, make timber joints and construct timber framed structures. Course will be aimed at beginners and improvers, prior experience not essential. Course work will be hands-on and with practical experience working on restoration of a 17th traditional Suffolk Barn. Course is being tutored by Rick Lewis, traditional oak carpenter and master craftsman. Course fee £450.
